TL;DR — Filmy Dialogues does not ask for any personal information — no account, no sign-up. Your favorites and reading progress stay on your device. The app is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID as described below.

1. Who we are

Filmy Dialogues ("the App", "we", "us") is an Android app that shows famous Bollywood and Indian-cinema dialogues in a swipeable card deck. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

2. Data the App itself collects

None is sent to us. The App has no accounts and no server of its own:

Favorites & progress — the dialogues you mark as favorite and the cards you have already seen are stored only in the App's local storage on your device, and are deleted when you uninstall the App.
No contacts, location, camera, or microphone access.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App shows ads through Google AdMob to stay free. AdMob is operated by Google LLC and may collect and process:

your device's advertising ID (resettable from Android settings);
IP address, coarse location derived from it, and basic device information;
ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) for serving, measuring, and — where enabled — personalizing ads.

This data is handled under the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps. You can limit personalization by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

4. Actor photos (Wikipedia)

Most actor photos are bundled inside the App. For a few, the App may fetch a photo over the internet from Wikipedia/Wikimedia servers. Such requests carry your IP address, like any web request, and are governed by the Wikimedia Privacy Policy. No identity or usage data is attached to these requests by the App.

5. Sharing dialogues

When you share a dialogue card, the App hands the image/text to the app you choose (e.g. WhatsApp). That app processes the shared content under its own privacy policy.

6. Children

The App's content (movie dialogues) is suitable for a general audience and the App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are served through Google AdMob in accordance with Google's policies.

7. Your choices & rights

Reset or delete your advertising ID any time in Android settings.
Delete all locally stored data (favorites, progress) by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it.
Under GDPR/CCPA, requests about ad data collected by Google can be made via Google's privacy tools at My Ad Center.

8. Changes to this policy

If our data practices change, this page and the "Last updated" date above will be updated before the change takes effect.
